The Board of Assessors notice:
Scams involving stealing land and homes are on the rise. Massachusetts has had two incidents recently reported in the news of properties caught up in a scam where people who reside outside of the US steal property for both vacant parcels and existing houses.
Sign up for a notification alert at the Registry of Deeds. The alert is free and will let you know when a document is recorded for your property.
