The Board of Selectmen is seeking interested residents to serve on a new Town Manager Act Review Committee. Per the Town Manager Act, the Board of Selectmen “appoint from among the residents of the town a committee to review this act, as it may be amended from time to time. Such committee shall make such recommendations to the board of selectmen as it deems appropriate concerning proposed revisions.”
Interested residents are encouraged to submit an Application for Volunteer Services for consideration for appointment to the Town Manager Act Review Committee. The application can be found at the link below. Applications will be accepted through December 22nd with appointments being considered at the January 2nd Board of Selectmen meeting.
