Upton Housing Authority (Term until May 2025 Election)
Responsibilities: Ensuring integrity, setting policy, advocating for low-income housing, maintaining community relations, supporting tenant participation, and adhering to DHCD rules.

Responsibilities: The Commission delegates meet quarterly with an annual meeting in June. This body is responsible for all policy decisions, including approval of the annual work program and budget. Through our delegates, Upton can receive direct benefits and shape public policy in a real and tangible way through participation in various committees established to implement these core focus areas. Each community has an alternate who may vote in place of an absent delegate.

Mission: The mission of the Upton Conservation Commission is to protect wetlands and resources in the town of Upton through acquisition, management, education, and regulations. The Commission acts as a liaison between the public and other governmental agencies in protecting our natural resources and serves as an environmental and educational resource for citizens, groups, organizations, as well as local, State, and Federal agencies. The Commission, in conjunction with its subcommittees, manages town-owned conservation areas totaling approximately 800 acres, maintains trails, leads educational activities, and sponsors maintenance “work parties.”
