The Code Enforcement Department allows holders of all permits issued by this office the ability to apply, pay, and research permits online. The types of permits that can be submitted online are as follows with required supporting documentation:

• Building permits
  * Certificate of Liability insurance listing the Town of Upton as the Certificate holder.
  * Workers Compensation Affidavit.
  * Debris Disposal Affidavit (if required).
  * Building plans.
  * Signed contract.
  * Copy of your trade license.
• Plumbing/Gas permits
  * Certificate of Liability insurance listing the Town of Upton as the Certificate holder.
  * Workers Compensation Affidavit.
  * Copy of your trade license.
• Electrical permits
  * Certificate of Liability insurance listing the Town of Upton as the Certificate holder.
  * Workers Compensation Affidavit.
  * Copy of your trade license.
• Sheet Metal permits
  * Certificate of Liability insurance listing the Town of Upton as the Certificate holder.
  * Workers Compensation Affidavit.
  * Debris Disposal Affidavit (if required).
  * Signed contract.
  * Copy of your trade license.
• Solid Fuel permits
  * Certificate of Liability insurance listing the Town of Upton as the Certificate holder.
  * Workers Compensation Affidavit.
  * Copy of your trade license.
• Trench permit
  * Certificate of Liability insurance listing the Town of Upton as the Certificate holder.
  * Workers Compensation Affidavit.
  * Copy of your trade license.
• Small Accessory Structure permit (Shed)
  * Complete form.
  * Attach plot plan with location.
